$700.00 is the cost to send a veteran on KANSAS HONOR FLIGHT!

Posted 2/28/2014
The Finney County 4-H Fundraiser for the Kansas Honor Flight was very successful.
This year we collected $7,354.00, for our Kansas Veterans.
The checks will be mailed Saturday, March 1st. When you receive the mailing, please let me know by email.
If any other donations come in, we will forward those on to you. We have been receiving donations up until yesterday.
Finney County 4-H is very proud of the funds raised the last four years. Our total for 2-11-2014 is $27,689.28.
We have two people that are champions for the Honor Flight project.
One is Keith Strasser, who along with Rosemary Corbett had the idea for our 4-H members to have a service project.
Keith is a go getter for the cause and spends a tremendous amount of time and effort to solicit the businesses and the to-go-to people for donations.
Keith is also the organizer for the Chili feed. We also really appreciate Rosemary Corbett for her enthusiastic, passion for the project.

Thank You.
